The Belgravia Residents Association exists to promote the conservation
and enhancement of our unique urban environment.
The BRA's main areas of involvement include:
- Current planning applications and building developments in
Belgravia.
- Constant review of local traffic problems and general road
works.
- Residents parking and the impact of the congestion charge.
- Street cleansing, waste collection and recycling.
- Policing, crime prevention and noise pollution.
- Impact of local licensing legislation.
- The promotion of a greener environment with tree planting,
provision of hanging baskets and the up keep and protection
of the garden squares.
- Working to limit the impact of large scale public events in
Hyde Park that generate unacceptable noise, disruption and environmental
damage.
- Liaising with Transport for London and Westminster City Council
for a fully integrated transport interchange system to replace
the existing outdated Victoria Coach Station.

The Belgravia Residents Association is an independent non-political
community organization that represents the interests of residents
in Belgravia. The Association works closely with Westminster City
Council, the Grosvenor Estate and the Metropolitan Police and
is in a unique position to improve the overall high standards
of our community as well as help and advise individuals with their
particular concerns.
Annual membership costs only £20. Not
only does this give you and your family access to the knowledge
and contacts developed over 30 years of community service but
also entitles you to attend our annual summer garden party and
the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November. At these events
you have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss problems
with council officials and members of the Grosvenor Estate and
the Belgravia Police.
As our membership grows, so does the BRA's influence on its behalf.
To join, just complete the application form
and send it to us with your cheque.
